Membership Tiers

Regular Membership (voting rights)

You must be an author of a musical composition such as a songwriter/composer, lyricist, beatmaker or producer, published or unpublished, who is a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant.

Student Membership (voting rights)

You must be an author of a musical composition such as a songwriter/composer, lyricist, beatmaker, or producer, published or unpublished, who is a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant. Exclusive to full time students enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution.

Associate Membership (non-voting)

You must be an individual who is a citizen or landed immigrant of Canada and whose ordinary place of residence is in Canada; or a firm or corporation owned or controlled directly or indirectly by such persons that has an interest in the welfare and support of Canadian songwriters.

To purchase a membership:

  1. Click above to choose your membership tier, apply a promo code if you have one, and complete your purchase.
  2. You will receive a link to the S.A.C. Membership Activation Form, which must be completed to activate your membership.
  3. Memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase. You will receive an automated reminder to renew your membership annually.
  4. Continue to refer back to the S.A.C. website to access services and stay up to date with programming!
